The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, and the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, visited today the Trebinje Police Administration, where they had a meeting with the head of this Administration, Mr Siniša Laketa and his associates. The head of the Administration presented the security situation on the territory of the Administration, and it was estimated as favorable. Minister Karan used the occasion to discuss the event that happened two days ago in the place of Zovi Do, on the territory of Nevesinje municipality and said that the police were currently identifying the attacker. The Minister and the Director visited the Gendarmerie Unit of the Trebinje Police Administration and commended the members of this Administration for their professional and prompt reaction in resolving the emergency situation in Zovi Do. ”This is one of the many examples in which the Ministry, the Republic of Srpska Police, has demonstrated it guarantees the security of the lives of all the Republic of Srpska citizens and their property, with their professionalism, legitimacy and bravery”, stated Minister Karan. He also used the opportunity to thank the District Prosecutor’s Office in Trebinje and pointed out that this was an excellent example of cooperation between institutions.
