On 21 August 2024, the police officers from Gradiška Police Administration arrested a person whose initials are A.P. from Sarajevo, suspected of committing the criminal offence of ‘People smuggling’.
Namely, in the evening of 21 August, in the village of Orahova, near Gradiška, the police officers controlled a passenger vehicle, brand ‘Citroen’, and on that occasion, it was found that the driver of the vehicle, an A.P, was transporting four persons who were most likely of African-Asian descent.
The prosecutor on duty of the Prosecutor’s Office of BIH was informed on the event, so they ordered a report to be submitted after completing the investigation against the A.P. on the committed criminal offence ‘People smuggling’.
