DIRECTOR KOSTREŠEVIĆ MET WITH THE DIRECTOR OF MONTENEGRO POLICE DIRECTORATE

Today, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, met with the Director of Police Directorate of the Republic of Montenegro, Mr Zoran Brđanin. The aim of the meeting was joint observation of current security challenges and further modalities of cooperation in countering all forms of crime.

On this occasion, both participants of the meeting expressed their support to the friendly and partner relations between the police institutions that are mostly reflected through the operational cooperation and joint participation in regional initiatives. Additionally, they agreed that there is space for improving their bilateral cooperation in all segments that are in the best interest of both parties.

Directors Kostrešević and Brđanin agreed that the future joint activities should focus on more intense cooperation in countering organised crime through the improvement of cooperation between their FAST teams, as well as on the exchange of knowledge and experience related to the functioning of stationary radar systems through the organisation of study visits of the organisational units for traffic safety.

Since both directors expressed high appreciation towards the importance of joint activities and unified response in countering security challenges, they asserted mutual readiness and dedication to the continuous strengthening of relations with the aim providing as high security level in the region as possible.
