On 1 October 2015, police officers of Doboj Public Security Center arrested nine persons. Seven persons (an M.S. and an N.S. from the town of Šamac, an R.Z., a D.V. and an M.D. from the town of Brod, an M.S. from the municipality of Pelagićevo, and an H.B. from the town of Orašje, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina) were arrested based on suspicion that they have committed the criminal offense of ‘Unauthorized production and sale of narcotic drugs’, and two persons (a G.P. from the town of Brod and a B.Z. from the town of Šamac) based on suspicion that they have committed the criminal offense of ‘Unauthorized trade’. Police officers of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Crime Police Administration, monitored and controlled by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, performed the action which was being prepared for several months against an organized criminal group which organized and performed the transport of weapons and ammunition to the Federal Republic of Germany from the territory of the Republic of Srpska. The action was performed in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office and the Police of the Republic of Germany.
