The campaign ”Choose life instead of weapons”, implemented by the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior in cooperation with all ten cantonal ministries of the interior in the BiH Federation and the Brčko District Police was launched today. The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the citizens on the dangers of keeping firearms and the consequences it has to people’s life and health. Police officers of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior are undertaking measures and activities defined by law and the Constitution in order to maintain favourable security situation on the territory of the Republic of Srpska, thus keeping the citizens and their property safe, regardless of their ethnicity – this is the conclusion of the staff meeting held by Minister Karan at Zvornik Police Administration, which was today also attended by the Republic of Srpska Prime Minister, Mr Radovan Višković.
